Everybody loves my red balloon ball. Probably more than they love me too, in fact (how is that possible??).
So I've decided to keep a record on how the ball's been over the past few days, just so you guys may know too (i'm so selfless).
As you would probably remember, my big red balloon was impressively huge that night. If it were filled with helium, you might not have seen me ever again. But as the days go by, it has disappointingly been shrinking faster than I thought it would, making it less fun that it seemed on the first night. Perhaps it's the cold weather. You know. The cold shrinks? Heat expands? Science talk here, don't mess with me.
Anyway, take a look at it yourself.

I used my left arm as the benchmark. I know it's hard to notice, but I am stretching less as the days progress (bet you didn't see that till i said it).
By day 03, the balloon had started to take an odd cherry-like shape if you can see through the unfocused lens. And as you can see in day 04, the dieting alone isn't good as it leaves stretch marks.
Tonight, that is day 05, it's reduced to but a mere regular party balloon the shape of a thornless durian.
Tomorrow, I shall attempt to re-inflate it to see if it'll burst, when procrastinating taking a break from my studies.
Only 5 more sleeps to my first exam paper. Yay-not.

Hey Dave.. u were talking about French Films right? I just realised that there is a French Film Fest going on here in KL under GSC. Ending this sunday... I think I'll go check a movie out before it ends and before I start work. :P
About the balloon... try filling it up with helium. ;)

sj: haha, yes. my 'wuss' t-shirt. looks better on me than the other guy tho. *bleh
jezza: yep. another friend told me as well. of all the movies they're screening i've only watched 2 tho, that's hors de prix and science of sleep. science of sleep is michel gondry's. mmmm. visually very very nice. but hors de prix's got audrey tautou and it's hilarious too. i recommend both.
kon: i was actually looking at my laptop which made a sound in that last pic. :P

if you manage to inflate it, try and get inside it. i would love to see you as balloon boy. and then when people hug the lovable balloon, you'll feel all the love too..

iris: you have a bad habit of double commenting. as to the question of the balloon deflating, i think it'll just turn to be one of those big brother just had a new baby sister scenario where he suddenly feels less loved. once the baby's out of the way, he'll get all the attention back. and in the oven the rubber will melt, einstein.
brod & sharene: i know i am. what is blur cute though? unfocused?
ant: i'm not small enough. iris can.
