primitive again

Maybe it's the wind that caused this.
But as of the past two nights, the lights on the street outside my apartment have been down.

I love it. The darkness, I mean. It feels kinda primitive again. Like how it would be like when I'm living out in the suburbs. When it's night, it really is night.
No light peering through the slits of the curtains.
No sound from wheezing trams.

Just silence. And darkness.

Solitude, I embraced again.

spoilt

It's been a grueling three weeks of juggling between job interviews, uni mid sems, work, and the many, many preparations for planetUNI's Camp 08. I thought I've been eating well and getting enough sleep still despite it all (bunking by 1am the latest, and eating my three meals a day), and yet I've still found myself to have lost about 1 kilo over the past two weeks.
Nevertheless, camp is tomorrow, and I'm soooooo excited about it.

Now, I know it's camp, and I don't care what people may say, but I'm so gonna spoil myself this time round. I think I deserve it. The past three weeks has been the craziest roller-coaster ride I've been on my entire life, so I think I should give myself a break.
And so to do that, in driving down to Phillip Island this weekend, I've decided to pack:

1. A doona
2. A pillow
3. Portable heater
4. Iron (necessary for props later)
5. My notebook + Music
6. Extra awesome comfy clothes (reminisce hip-hop days), and
7. Loads of junk food

I'm tempted to transport my entire bed to camp as well but I don't think the costs would weigh up to the benefits of it evenly.
Camp is gonna be mad. I haven't written like this since I was in high school.
I will take photos and stuff and tell you all about it when I get back.

If I get back.
