I've no notion of their existence until I bumped into them in the midst of their 7-day talk sessiony thingy. And they are having it IN my faculty (ICT building for CSSE students, the newest most advanced and prettiest building in Melbourne University).
More than that, they even have services in my building every Saturday morning! After much chit-chatting I was invited - which I expected to eventually happen - and I had to decline. Their service was from 10am to 12pm. Jam's from 9am to 12pm. Pity, they were nice people. Very evangelistic I must say. Very much like us.
But of course their beliefs differ from ours if only by a slight. They argued that they belief in the Bible as a whole, and followed them as a whole, so they took extra measures to ensure the 'older laws' were followed - like Sabbath on Sunday, and worship service on Saturday. And even the crazy n' mad book of Leviticus which I can't even pronounce properly (as half the books in the Bible). If you've read the book of Leviticus, you'll know why. Wonder how they do it?
They are our brothers netherless, very much alike the Jews, only believing in the 'Second Coming' of Jesus who was, is and will be our Saviour. Which is, principly, what we believe too, right? It is unfortunate that I'll probably never see them again (because of Jam session). But seriously, even if there wasn't Jam, I would still be in bed till 1pm.
By the way, sorry for not blogging for so long. It will be this way for a while I'm afraid - it has changed to the reading season. I expect next would be the writing season though, and what I get in this reading season will bear its fruits then, hopefully.
