wow... finally I am blogging again. Can't remember when was the last time actually. Have been really busy and pre-occupied with work here. Today is one of the only day where I do not have a whole day of class. Usually this day is used to prepare myself for the new problem for the coming week. But since I had taught this week's problem yesterday, hehe... now I can afford to be a little more relaxed, It'll be second run tomorrow and the third and the fourth run for the consecutive days.
Unlike Dave, i am so not addicted to blogging, but i know if i don't blog, I am not allowing myself the space to think and somehow reflect on the days that just went by. I used to have the luxury of being able to journal everyday and put up something worth reading on my blog. But somehow I find that with my new routine and new environment, that luxury and that discipline has been stolen away from me. I somehow miss it but yet, I am not doing anything about it also. Hmmm.
Many people have been asking how have I been, I know these people are genuinely concern about how I am getting on as a person. These people love me. Hehe... Come to think about it, I haven't actually given myself the space nor the opportunity to sit down and really think about what is happening around me. Lazy and ill-disciplined. I think I am getting on well. But am I really? I don't know. I do not have everything in the world, but I lack nothing. So that is a good thing I think. I am settling well. God is good. Indeed blessing me with good working environment, good working culture, good people, good housemate, and most of all, He had made sure that I am connected to friends here. I am just amazed by how God provides. Being new to this city, I am so glad to have friends whom I have shared life with for the past few years here together with me. Terence, Brenda, Mark, Matt, and Sue. We meet weekly to keep each other supported. Ought to mention also other awesome friends who were already here. Jane, Sherlyn, Qing,Su, just to name a few.
In short, God has been very gracious to me. As for me, I have yet to find myself a good and disciplined spiritual routine. Maybe I am still overwhelmed by all the 'New(s)". Now that I am pretty settled at work, I think it is time to pay some attention to my spirituality. :-)
