Merry (belated) Christmas and a Happy New Year. I have gone missing for a while. Partly because I'm lazy and also because I have other things to do than to blog. Of course, I always reach that listening point where I need to write it out and -rah away so I feel better.
So much has happened since the last entry. Gawd I am just going to write as it comes :) There was the Christmas party which was heaps fun, then the brother leaving to KL then to London and then the New Year's Eve party. I think I finally made space to reflect on the year and to put to words the stuff that has been brewing in my head and heart. It has been a great and fulfilling year. Mainly in the relationship side of things where it felt that after hitting the brick wall for so long, it is finally crashing down. It was only towards the end of the year where a few partly rocky relationships took a turn for the better. I didn't do anything but I suppose opportunities came and I had to learn to realign my heart towards Him who is gracious.
And of course there's the uni side of my life which consumed so much of me emotionally and physically. I don't think I can say yet that it has been the best experience with no regrets. But I'm learning that there will be good things coming out of it. Woot. Trying.
Then there was space for new relationships to grow and new friends to make, mostly with girls who are far less complicated and 'difficult' than the ones I have encountered. Thank you GOD! I learned to share the journey with people around my age. Previously, most of the influential people were heaps older. Also had the chance to do girly stuff with no agenda and no jealous talk and stuff. This is a plus plus plusssss.
Turning 21 was quite a big thing for me. It feels like a no more nonsense age and no more excuses to be immature age. Oh the many responsibilities, the thought of working. The thought of earning my own money. Oh deardear me....
Then there was Christmas Carolling. sO SO SO FUN!. Loved that there were Three Wise Men who didn't mind being severely outnumbered and still sang their hearts out with us crazy buncha girls. Thank you, all! We have some VERY talented girls in our bunch who can all sing! YAY. Looking forward to a new year with you all too.
Last but not least, the crazy journey with Zakky. Oh what a year it has been for us. Getting to know you better and hearing your heart for Him and the kinds of dreams you have for this place and the people. We don't necessarily agree upon every detail but what the heck, go for it! :P Looking forward to so much much more with you.
Anyways, long story short, 2006 has been a kick-ass year!
