Yawn...i think i'm going through the blogger's block. Have absolutely nothing to write about. Maybe i have toooo much to write about. But oh wells....
Starting to dread uni and all the many hours in labs doing my dumb pracs. It's another Wednesday....9-5pm which i conveniently slept through my first class =P Could only move to switch my alarm clock off. Was so tempted to skip my next class too but then the renovation guys buzzed the apartment and woke me up. Sigh...Can't miss my Gender Studies tute. After all, i'm supposed to be presenting. So i went into class not knowing what to say but i managed to crap my way through it. Thankfully, some of my classmates knew the song which i used as an example, so they commented a lil bit and saved me from all the '....uhh...i think...yar...am i making sense....umm...' It was really interesting to hear how people argue about their view on a certain issue and bring religion in and then hear another defending. It really looked like one of the girls was gona throw a book at the other.teehee...what did i do...? Sat quietly at the corner and looked at all the eye rolling going on. =P
anyways....gota run for my next class...God give me strength...=(
Yesterday morn was pretty interesting. Well, i woke up for church. Heard some noises coming from my living room downstairs then i remembered that my bro had a friend (Jack) over. Okee....Took my shower, got ready to go for church....was searching for my bible...and i heard footsteps so i peeked outside my room only to see this i-don't-know-who walking upstairs looking all sleepy. "Who's this stranger...?!!! Doesn't look like Jack...Unless he grew shorter and...ermm...i duno...AHhh...maybe someone broke into the apartment...Gona catch me and steal my ipod...AHHHH....." Ok. The ipod bit wasn't so true. teehee...Anyways, he said hi...and knocked on bro's room calling for 'ALEX'. He got the name rightt. Phew....
I found myself really easily irritated yesterday. From the long wait to leave church for lunch to the long wait outside Shanghai Dumplings to the even LONGER walk to another Shanghai Dumplings place. Bleh....maybe i'm moody when i'm hungry. After lunch, we went for the RMIT open day. Hmmm...unsurprisingly boring. hehe...I was only looking forward to my ALL-BERRY-BANG after that.
Idol was...OK. I think i really like channel and courtney=) Vote!!!
Today, i had my first Gender studies tutorial. Before you start having any weird ideas about me, i'm NOT a feminist...not a lesbian...not a male-hating girl. Just had an extra space for an elective and i choose Gender, Culture and Identity politics. I must say, it's a rather loud contrast in comparison to my other Science subjects and all the feed you information that's strictly physical and biological...physiological...biochemical...yada yada yada.
Anyways, i'm having a short 'presentation' like thingo in week 3. Not really a 5 minutes speech but more like coming to the tutorial prepared with 3-5 discussion questions about some particular topic. And i think i'm gona bring the lyrics of the song 'Video' by India Arie. My topic is about body image and heterosexuality something something something...Don't have me course reader with me...hmm...Anyways, will write about it when it happens=)
I'm just tired and lazy all the time. I think it's probably because of the lack of exercise for the past few months....since kg, est and i stopped jogging. Hmm...I wish uni had like rooms where u can sleep especially for those who have more than 1 hour breaks between classes. Sat beside a friend today in my lecture who had a 6 hour break till her next class. Man...i better stop complaining....
It's quite funny how rumours develope and spread....Heard a rather hilarious story about my 'love triangle' with not 2 but 3 guys. Man...that's just bad....anyways...no details about it....People who read this, don't go around spreading rumours about others!!!
