Ahh...my parents left last sat night. Can't say that i'm overly happy or terribly sad that their annual (which have become more like a every 6 months) visit has ended. I'm just glad =). Just that the apartment is a little quiet and the dust and mess are starting to accumulate again. Not to mention, my laundry basket's starting to fill up again. Hmm...i miss mummy =P (hopefully not for the wrong reasons...teehee)
Oh well, it has been a fulfilling week. Finally spending quality time with my family...(sis, if u ever read this, we missed you too. Will find a way to stick ur face in out pics...the wonders of digital cameras). Instead of the usual shopping or shopping....and eating and then shopping then eating, parents decided to go on a real holiday=) woohoooo..
But, i guess it's back to more more more work. With uni coming to an end in less than 5 weeks, eek, i'm starting to freak out. If you see me eyes looking puffy and pimples making themselves visible, DON'T POINT IT OUT TO ME! Aiks.
Anyways, gota go back to my work. Waiting for Gracey to text me when she's hungry so we can go eat!
Ugh! Have never been this car sick in my life!
I think my parents are just in the mood of holiday-ing. We've already made 2 trips to the suburbs early this week. We set off early this morning to the Great Ocean Road to see the Great Ocean (duh) and the 12 Apostles. I think i was so tired last night when i got back from Zac's that i subconsiously hoped that we'd cancel the trip in the last minute. Funny, coz i woke up from a dream about the trip being canceled just when i heard mum calling my name. I thought, "Hooray! More sleep.." But i guess not....
It wasn't too bad during the first 2 and a half hours. I slept most of the time=) hehe. But when we reached the mountains bit, ugh, i wished i could just puke. But....i shall not complain. Stopped at thie place called Lorne where we had lunch and took a walk near the beach. Then drove just a lil further to the pier and decided to go smell some fish. Hehe....Bro and i walked down to the rocks and took a few pics. Our funny, dumb poses. Hope he puts it up on his blog. Hehe...=P
After a looooooooooong drive, we finally reached 'THE PLACE'. Hehe...Dad told us some weird chinese old grandma ma story about how the rocks became rocks. Something along the lines of 12 women whose husbands used to go out till late. And the wives had to wait. Eventually, they became rocks after many years of waiting. interesting....Anyways, took a lot of pics. Then i started to count but could only see 9. So weird. Hmm...anyone who's been there know where the other 3 could've been????
I must say that though the journey there and back was HORRIBLE, it sure was great spending time w my family (poor sis back in KL..eek). But, i dont think i'd wana do that again anytime soon.....

I think for the past 2 days, i've travelled in the car for a total of 5 and a half hours.....maybe more. Parents arrived at Melb for a visit last Friday morn. Didn't actually go pick them up coz i had class in the morn. Funny enough, i kinda saw them on my way to uni along grattan st. 2 cars behind was Tim. I think i must've looked really sleepy cause it took me a few seconds to register when they honked me from the car and i saw mummy waving at me. teehee.
Went to the winery yesterday. Was quite a drive but the journey felt much shorted after the break we had at McD's where we each grabbed an ice-cream. Couldn't resist the temptation of OREO McFlurry!!! yumm...We visited 3 vineyards, one of which we got the chance to tour the factory and had a personal tour-guide explaining to us the many processes involved in wine making. oh well...as if i knew what she said. All i heard was ferment....red...white...erm, sulfur. But nevertheless, it was great fun travelling out of the city with mum and dad=)
Well, decided to give the cute lil penguins a visit so we drove all the way to Phillip Island today. Reached there in time to have fish and chips for lunch with the sea gulls. Man, i think they attack if you start to feed them. We found a comfy spot under the sun when 2 to 3 seagulls came on by. Then it was 5 to 7 and soon, we were surrounded by them. Freaky. They must be a hungry pack of birds. heh...
Highlight of the day : We managed to catch a glimpse of penguins mating. Hehe..Not that i'm some sick girl looking out for animals mating. But i thought it was quite funny. hehe. Too bad cameras, video or still wasn't allowed =)
I'm so tired. Time to go Zzz....
I think i've reached a point where i'm so tired, nothing's really getting into my head. Been trying to read my notes and do some last minute revision for the BIG day tomorrow. I can't exactly say that I'm so prepared for my mid-Semesters and that i don't have to study for it anymore. Everything's half done. On top of that, i've got to prepare for my lab in the arvo. I end up cleaning the kitchen....packing my bag...washing the cups...charging my ipod...AGAIN...combing my hair....rearranging the notes in my file. Bleh...my brain's nearly exploding. It's not that i can really rest tomorrow night....still gota rush my dumb essay. Sigh. I just wana be lazy and not do anything. Desperately wanting a massage cause my back and shoulders are aching.
This is by far the WORST mid-sem i've ever had.... >_<
Sigh....i guess it's back to work...
Melbourne weather is SOOOO weird. Was walking back from uni and the heat was just RIGHT. Not too warm, not too cold =) 15minutes later, i look out my window and it's pouring outside. Then 10 minutes later, it's sunny again. Oh my gosh. This is mad. It's like the sky is having mood swings or PMS. Hehe...
Anyways, been reeeeeeally busy catching up on my work. My 2500word essay due soon. I'm more than half way through. Thank God. But haven't really touched my other 2 subjects for my Mid Sem coming up on Wednesday. Then i've got a lab report due on Mon. Then gota prepare for my lab on wednesday....i'm sooooo gona take a long rest after that. Eek...
My parents are coming in a week's time. Hmm...more yummy food, more play and shopping time. teehee....duno if it's a good or a bad thing. Was planning to study realllllll hard during my hols. But oh well....i don't mind lar.
It's back to more work....but first... feed the hungry stomach....

hehe....it has been quite a while since i last blogged. Feeling very uninspired and just don't feel like bloggin anything. It is 1:53 am and i'm still up doing my research for an assignment due next week. I've got 2 mid semester tests the day before my due date and i havent studied for any of them. Talk about procrastination. hmm....
Anyways, i tried to apply for an extension from my lecturer but she said that they usually don't take into consideration the student's other subjects....How mean...! =| Fine! i'll just have to write a really crap essay if that's what she wants!!! grr....
Anyways, i'm not thinking properly coz i'm quite tired. Only had 5 hours of sleep last night with a short power nap in the arvo after my class. So my sentences may not connect or make sense. whatever......Will try to blog more after next week....when the battle is won....teehee
