So, life for me has been pretty boring. Spend a lot of my free time studying or doing my endless string of assignments. I'm feeling so stressed. I think i haven't really sat down and watch the tv in a while. I used to be so addicted to it. But nowadays, its always there for noise or when someone else is watching it, i'll be at the table getting some work done and listening to it.
I have become pretty moody too nowadays. Just don't show it very much to the people around me. TRY to bite my tongue and look ok. Hmm...i guess it's in the quite moments when you're alone that everything starts to pour out and be released. Then i'll feel a little better and life goes on....
Am feeling too tired to think...One major assignment due tomorrow. Trying not to think about it. eek!
Last night was life-changing for two of my dear friends!
He proposed and she said yes....ON HER BIRTHDAY!!!! =)
I had just sat for a Mid Sem yesterday which was 9 freaking pages long, handed in an assignment which i only heard about yesterday, meet my mentor for this major assignment and got another assignment due in a month. Man...i'm going crazy! The good thing is, for the assignment due in a month's time, i get to choose one out of 3 topics. Was looking through the handout sheet and this essay question caught my eye. Not that i have an eye for these kinda stuff.
The claim: Sex can set off a heart attack
Apparently, it was an article in the New York Times back in 2004. I think i'm pretty set on attempting to do this question. Only problem is i gota sign up for it and only 21 students are allowed. This is NOT an anyhow write your own conclusion essay but i'm supposed to read this scientific journal and summarize all the stuff they write about. So...good luck to me!
Apparently, i'm a freak. Bunnie posted this on her blog a while ago. Only got around to trying it tonight.
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot
off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in
the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.
You are not meant to be able to keep ur foot in the clockwise direction but somehow i could. If you concentrate enough and tell it to keep going clockwise...(yes...i know which direction my clock turns), you'll be able to do it =) Any of you bored enough to try, do leave comments abt how it went =)
Went to the Victorian Eye and Ear hospital this morning. After that nasty hit, i realised that my vision on the right eye is giving me problems when i read. So i made my way to the emergency ward. I was quite happy to see so few people when i arrived. Little did i know that if you're not OLD and if you don't have a patch on either of your eye, you're kinda at the bottom of the list. About 5 old women came in MUCH later than me, who ALL had a patch on their eye were given priority. Shucks! My turn finally came. The doctor looked friendly. Did a few tests using some savvy looking machine that shines FREAKING bright light straight at your eye. After a while, i felt a bit nauseous. So we took a break from the tests. Man, it was painful! They had to get a nurse to check my blood pressure in case i was going to faint or something. At the end, the doc had to get a specialist to check the eye coz he wasn't as skilled. Which explained why he took so long with the test and prolonged the time needed to shine that stupid light at my eye.
Finally, he tells me that my eye is ok. I might need reading glasses to help with the blurry vision. And it was possible that i've always had a problem with that eye but didn't realise it until the hit. hm.....i wonder. Oh well. If you ever see me wearing geeky glasses, don't you dare laugh at me!
